WORKS
Now the debate on this subject by Christians never will end. Always going to have the ones who will make this the most important part of faith.
And you can be sure it will not ever be settle during any generation. People have penned all kinds of opinions and always will.
One does have to asked at times how we really make sense of all. We are all in a position to trust.
And our efforts by themselves will not save us. But can we really express our faith if we do nothing?
Seems like some try. And they do manage to not be concerned over it. But I think when the Holy Spirit is present it will affect one.
And that will mean somehow and someway the power will flow through our lives. Maybe not all the time, but sometimes.
And the problem is to be sure we don’t take the time to make it some kind of law. That is when it can be terrible.
Sort of faith on demand. Which really never works. It just leads to guilt. And lots of it in the wrong way.
Plus too many make their idea of works the rule. It isn’t based on what the Holy Spirit would inspire.
Becomes a case of show. To have something to boast about. Then it becomes related and driven by self.
And that never gets the results that serves the Lord’s purposes. Yep, that will always be so sad.
To see so many who get so motivate to serve the Lord, but for gain. I remember when I was studying in bible college.
They made such a big deal about resources. How much you had was more important than doing it for the right reasons.
So you got to say you were blessed. But no much else. Oh the person always talked about all God has done.
But it was based on personal gain and nothing else. It is a sad comment on the truth of the human ego.
But that is way of man’s heart.
