FORWARNED

Now there are those times when you gut just warns you against a given choice. It can be really annoying when it turns out right.

Then if you ignore it you tend to get upset. Really have a reason to sit down and question your thinking completely.

I wish I could say that we learned from such experiences. That would be great. But for some reason we don’t.

The good news I think is that the Lord normally gives us more than one form of warning. And is longsuffering when we don’t get it.

And for that we can be grateful. Which I hope we are. Just too bad when we don’t learn in the process.

This can be a problem. Pride can surely interfere. And it can really result in a whole lot of annoyance.

Plus those times when we get downright angry because we don’t get our way. Yes that can be so aggravating.

But the reality is that we can have such mixed signals when it comes to warnings. One has to filter out fear from warnings.

This is not always easy. We can truly miss the truth in the process and then be left without the anchor needed.

For we can be human and make mistakes. And then have to let this be the issue that comes to our thoughts.

How hard this can be. So very challenging and difficult. So we have to learn to let the Lord lead.

It is a nice saying, but really is a challenge. And then when we do it right it does bless. Because we learn.

That is part of the joy. When those warnings help to become refined in a good way. So we will not react to them incorrectly.

To move ahead requires more than ourselves. And that is where have the choice. Wander that path the right way and it brings joy.

Avoid it and we will have problems. And keep having them till the warnings make sense. Such is life.
