DID GOD BESTOW

Did God bestow
the perfect night
amid the dazzle and myths
of some cold wintry sight?
Was he
preparing us to spend
our lives and fortunes
on what some false religion’s lies
did actually begin?
Yet
with merriment and blindness
we surrender
just the same
into celebrating some
pagan holiday’s
traditions
so corrupting of truth
when we
stupidly insist it as Jesus’ birth
thus being our false and ignorant claim.
