Inspiration

One droplet of encounter
ripples the lake within the mind,
waves of inspiration
disturbed the lethargic calm.

And it washes over the thoughts
drenching them with new images
suddenly riding a crest of creativity
until it causes a cascade
of deep refreshing wash,
unto an immersion
in the genesis of concepts
where something is born
so different and amazing
as it becomes like a drink
totally inebriating in its influence
since its origin is inside.
