infecting the conscious and mummifying reason.

rises in their technical buffet
the brain suffers creative rigor mortis
being hopelessly overwhelmed
by the ever burgeoning sensory landscape.

Between the avalanche of details
smothering the memory with their information mounds
and the constant barrage from blooming data thickets
necessary to acclimate one's concentration
for wandering the labyrinths
created by society's evolving climate,
where is one to find refuge
just to hear the muse's whispers?

In the erudite atrophy
induced through the bureaucratic seduction
that sculpts individuality into conformity's clones,
mental intuitive probes
are defanged of their quintessence.

What transcends the decay in self realization
is the awakening within
through means that brought dawns to other generations.

To restore the passion for independence and heal self esteem
is the path that can bring back the flame extinguished,
until one feels the pure elation
from expressing, however, inadequately,
what gives any soul, real life.
