I am
a contusion of tales
the quintessence of blend
from those moments when
life both arises
or might descend
and my treasures
become something
only my soul
can spend.
It is the jewel flashes
when time’s gems
are cut
by a divine plan
that form
my memory’s necklace
worn
whether it shines
or shimmers
through the labors of my hand.
