Between the Stars

Strolling over the bridge
connecting desires to dreams
standing in the middle of the night
feeling the river flow underneath

Twinkling pinpricks overhead
beckons in its mystery
shining its silvery song
warm so deeply into one's soul.

Taking a drink of eve's magic
watching as the waters slowly

Lifting by a current of enchantment,
until swimming between the star
ocean of quiet brings is peace
